Coming up for Autumn- Colour Trends to expect for Autumn

After one of the hottest Great British Summers in history, the weather is now beginning to cool down and soon we will be in to the Autumnal months. The Autumn season is one of the most beautiful times of the year and you can almost feel the change in the air. So we at L&G wanted to start helping you prepare your autumn colours in your wardrobe to keep on trend with the new seasons colours.

The key colours this season focus around rustic berries, charcoal greys, warm fire orange, leaf lime greens and blending into yellows in conjunction with splash of bright colbalt blue and fresh pink no name but a few.
Firstly crispy fabrics will form a key part of the Autumn look which will be aligned against thick and luxurious materials. Woven fabrics and knits along with fur lining will be a big look this season.

Mixology is a key inspiration this season – mixing art, science and technology all into one cocktails. The trend focuses around inventing new tastes and discoveries and experiences for garments. It is the mixing of cultures, textures from around the world. It extends from the Latin American feel to tribal …all redefining the new vintage with the vintage coming from the heritage of cultural which will bring out old and new materials with contrasting bright and darker colours. ‘ Playful ideas with a dose of Chic.’ We will also see pattern and plain weaves contrasting with more fun and casual materials. Look out for sheer fabrics with motif prints and jersey garments with intricate embroidery.

Prints, Stripes and patterned lines for a key look this season combined with techniques which add 3D dimension. This is where you will see brighter colours working their way into autumn garments and adding more than a splash of colours. Jersey dresses, and knitwear along with a splash of colbalt blue, fire orange or bright pink will be key this season.

As we hit the high streets, we take a look at some of the latest trends this summer and the celebs who have got it right and are rocking the latest fashion styles.

Jumpsuits – Riviera chic is large this Summer and jump suits are one of the big hits, here we see  Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looking summer chic in this navy jumpsuit, perfect for the  chiller Summer evening and it can also been worn for office and after-work drinks.

This Summer, as we all know it is all about white, any time, any place, anywhere, white is in. Olivia Palermo effortless carries off this pretty summer dress and they way she has styled it makes this one of the best interpretations this season ( dog optional!).

Preppy is another look especially combined with a rock chick accessory. Taylor Swift   has style this look with a varsity jacket, a pair of short shorts to show off your legs and pointed laced flats.

We repeat white is in and for more of a glamorous evening dress look Miranda Kerr has combined his beautiful floaty dress with blue shoes and a clutch an effortlessly chic look. For the ultimate glam look get your hair blow dried and float with the dress.

Pastels – now if they are is one colour you need in your wardrobe along with white. It is a pastel colour. Lace is also a must have, Emmy Rossum looks ‘ Pretty in Pink’ and has combined the  lace skirt and pink jumper and looks summer chic in these these sugary pastels.
