Wedding Rings all round as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are Married

After nine years of marriage – the long awaited union between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has finally happened, they were married in the South of France this week. Giving in to years of insistence by their six children, the couple chose to be married in Chateau Miraval and the wedding ceremony took place in the private chapel with only family and a few friends in the hamlet of Correns. Angelina wore a classic plain white floor-length antique lace and silk dress which was stunning and radiated her beauty.

The eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10 walked Angelina down the aisle whilst daughters Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw rose petals to the altar and Shiloh and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. Keeping the tradition of wearing something old Angelina wore a small gold locket that contained a photo of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who sadly died of ovarian cancer in 2007.

In line with the growing trend of men and jewellery, Brad Pitt also received a wedding ring which he was spotted wearing recently, diamonds and rings are no longer only a girls best friend.

Coming up for Autumn- Colour Trends to expect for Autumn

After one of the hottest Great British Summers in history, the weather is now beginning to cool down and soon we will be in to the Autumnal months. The Autumn season is one of the most beautiful times of the year and you can almost feel the change in the air. So we at L&G wanted to start helping you prepare your autumn colours in your wardrobe to keep on trend with the new seasons colours.

The key colours this season focus around rustic berries, charcoal greys, warm fire orange, leaf lime greens and blending into yellows in conjunction with splash of bright colbalt blue and fresh pink no name but a few.
Firstly crispy fabrics will form a key part of the Autumn look which will be aligned against thick and luxurious materials. Woven fabrics and knits along with fur lining will be a big look this season.

Mixology is a key inspiration this season – mixing art, science and technology all into one cocktails. The trend focuses around inventing new tastes and discoveries and experiences for garments. It is the mixing of cultures, textures from around the world. It extends from the Latin American feel to tribal …all redefining the new vintage with the vintage coming from the heritage of cultural which will bring out old and new materials with contrasting bright and darker colours. ‘ Playful ideas with a dose of Chic.’ We will also see pattern and plain weaves contrasting with more fun and casual materials. Look out for sheer fabrics with motif prints and jersey garments with intricate embroidery.

Prints, Stripes and patterned lines for a key look this season combined with techniques which add 3D dimension. This is where you will see brighter colours working their way into autumn garments and adding more than a splash of colours. Jersey dresses, and knitwear along with a splash of colbalt blue, fire orange or bright pink will be key this season.

What’s Hot – Italian Riveria, Super Greens Juice and a Finer take on Jewellery

While Elle Macpherson showed off a picture of herself checking out the Italian Riviera, we decided to check out the latest trends this summer season. To be fair, it is hard to believe that ‘ The Body’ turns fifty this year and credits it partly to healthy living and super greens, it is also clear that the Italian Riviera is one of the top places to stay this Summer with it’s beautiful blue sea views.

Meanwhile Michelle Rodriguez was seen out with some of Justin Bieber’s crewe recently looking very toned, again crediting healthy living. The Fast and Furious stunner showed off her golden glow in a black bikini, black is a colour which has really hit the summer trend this season. Even though the runways are all about statement jewellery, we are seeing a turn towards finer jewellery. Michelle wears a fine jewellery necklace, a perfect accessory to a black bikini with gold. She also had a minimal make up which is a mandatory look this season.

One of the hottest places to go this Summer continues to be St Tropez where Selena Gomez along with good friend Cara Delevinge celebrated her 22nd birthday in St Tropez. She wore a colbalt blue patterned dress along with a gold collar choker – this look has been seen a lot on the runways this season. Cara was dressed in skin tight black with a crop top, to show off her ever trim waistline.

Looking Good in Swimwear – How to Accessorise

Whether on the beach or lying by the pool, whatever your size, shape or age there is always a swimming costume for you and at L&G we want to make sure you accessorise this Summer to look your best on the beach. So we have put together, some of the best swimming costumes and bikinis on trend this Summer and accessorised them to get the best out of your wardrobe.

Body Worry:  Womanly Waist-Lines and Tummy Worries
Focus on a structured swimsuits and the features around the bust area will add detail and balance out curvy thighs. For a stylish Marilyn Monroe finish we like this on trend yellow swimsuit. We would accessorise with the Imperial Collection cuff which can also be worn in the evening too ( loloand galago.com)
Recommended - Yellow Structured Swimsuit, £34 at
Topshop.

Body Worry: Small Bust
This is an easy one to solve – buy a padded push up bikini, this is  the one that will work for you..the padding will give you that extra push  and works perfectly with some matching bikini bottoms.
Compliment this coral bikini with a L&G Rose Quartz ring from the ‘ Candy Rocktail’ Collection.

Body Worry: Big Bust.
The structured bikinis are the best and the important thing is to find one that works for you and looks pretty – the Ahoy Bikini works for most sizes B-HH cup, £52 bra and £30 pants which can be bought at
Miss Mandalay. This looks great with this ring to add an edge from the 1950-Sixties collection.

Body Worry: Short Body
Elongate your torso with
slinky two-pieces. Try this striking Black and White Etoile by Isabel Marant at Net-a-Porter. Add the Star Leather bracelet to rock this style.

Body Worry: Pear Shape and long in the body.
A common concern but you need not worry there are two tricks to play with to maximise a long body – one is to wear a one-piece that breaks up the length of your torso, or attract more attention to your hips and breasts with a structured bikini with high leg cut bikini bottoms to accentuate the profile of your leg.

Add to this look with this striking pearl necklace.

Body Worry: Post Pregnancy Stretch Marks.
This stylish Melissa Odabash is the perfect solution – it’s simple style and slight take on the Sixties trend will work perfectly on the beach or by the pool (www.odabash.com). Add to this look with Number 8 Collection Gold Circular Pendant.
