This Spring/ Summer Hot Looks

So what’s trending this Spring/Summer? We at Lolo and Galago have put together some of the best looks of this Summer and show how to style it with the right jewellery.

Top of the list it is the Shirt Dress – if you are feeling flush go to Balenciaga to get the latest design as featured  below or just borrow your boyfriend’s shirt and get a belt and wrap it around. Either way shirt dresses are hot this season.

Shirt dresses look great with a short chain inside so we recommend one of the L&G Siren necklaces.

Crop Tops – crop tops have been seen everywhere this year, from city streets to runways including such as Michael Kors collection, crop tops are in. These can be worn with high waisted skirts, jeans, over the top of a vest – there are many ways to create a look.

As they are a statement in themselves, they need a touch of an accessory to compliment the look, in this case we recommend the sapphire pastel earrings ( www.loloandgalago).

Wide Leg Pants - Wide leg trousers have been popping up all over the Spring/Summer 2014
runways. Karen Walker, Alexander Wang and  J. Crew have been leading the way.

This style of trouser tends to work well with fitted jackets or fitted tops to elongate the body. Add bangles and statement necklaces.

Graphic and Jumpsuit - The jumpsuit forms one of the key trends and they have made an impact on the highstreet in all shapes and forms. The DVF jumpsuit below is one of our favourites.

Jumpsuits tend to be a statement in themselves so we recommend a subtle piece of fine jewellery, the 24:7 diamond necklace to an elegant touch.

Floral and Embroidery – Another key Summer look which we will see more of as we move into the Fall and next year is the Floral Collection.  Oscar de la Renta showcased some of the finest displays of floral creativity on the runway this season. When wearing a dress with so much complexity, we would recommend some statement earrings or for something more subtle these L&G floral studs.
