We at Lolo & Galago are excited to announce the unveiling of London’s most
famed, mysterious and the world’s largest cache of Elizabethan and early Stuart
jewellery. It was discovered in 1912 buried in a cellar in London’s Cheapside
district - named the ‘Cheapside Hoard’.
The Museum Of
London will be displaying the whole
collection which has never been shown to the public before. They will also be investigating
with new research & state of the art technology, stories related to the
hoard. Little is known of why it was lost or more likely hidden. It will also
explore the mysteries that remain, who owned the Hoard, why was it hidden and
why was it never reclaimed?
